She said yes!!
There is something so special about photographing proposals. Getting to witness one of the happiest moments in a couple's story never gets old, and I'm so thankful these two trusted me to capture theirs.
After pivoting from our original plan due to lovely Florida weather, this sweet couple took a stroll through downtown Pensacola. They had to check out the colorful umbrella installation created by Foo Foo Festival and the DIB. This is such a fun location that adds so much personality to photos. What Katlin didn't know was that under these beautiful umbrellas, she would be asked a life-changing question from her sweetheart.
Even with quickly pivoting our plan, everything went perfectly. She was completely surprised; he was all smiles (and cheers) as she said 'yes' to the next chapter of their lives! After the proposal, we spent some time walking around downtown, taking some engagement photos while they soaked it all in. Those first few minutes after a proposal are always my favorite because nothing is posed; these are the moments where the best emotional images are captured.
