I love when families take the time to capture this chapter in their lives — especially when everyone’s grown and busy and living their own stories. This session brought together two proud parents, their two adult sons, and the sons' girlfriends for a relaxed, sun-soaked evening at Fort Pickens and Pensacola Beach.


It was one of those perfect summer nights where the light is soft, the breeze off the water is gentle, and everyone can just be present with each other. They laughed easily, didn’t take themselves too seriously, and gave me full trust to guide them through a mix of playful, candid moments and more timeless portraits.


We started in the iconic fort at Fort Pickens — one of my favorite places for that natural, coastal feel with sandy trails, and just enough structure to add interest without distraction. Then, as the sun dipped lower, we moved down to the water and dunes for some golden hour magic.


These kinds of sessions — with older kids, couples within the family, and multiple groupings — are so special. They tell a bigger story. It’s more than just smiling for the camera. It’s documenting connection, legacy, and the way people love each other right now, forever.
